Day1
Tel Aviv
After arrival at Ben
Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, you will be met by your local guide
. Drive to your hotel in Tel Aviv where you will have dinner and
overnight.
Day 2
Tel Aviv / Haifa / Nazareth / Tiberias
Drive through the coastal plains to Caesera
Martima and Haifa, visit Mt. Carmel for a panoramic view of the
Mediterranean . Continue to Nazareth to visit Joseph's workshop
at the cave of the Annunciation. Through Cana of Galilee, where
our Lord performed the first miracle - changing water to wine at
the wedding feast, continue to the shores of the Sea of Galilee
to visit the baptismal site at the River Jordan. Near by is your
hotel in Tiberias .
Day 3
Tiberias / Sea of Galilee
After breakfast, boat
ride across the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum for a visit, then to
Tabgha and Mount of Beatitudes. Afternoon excursion takes us to
the summit of Mount Tabor. Our visit will include the site of
the Transfiguration and the beautiful scenery of the valley of
Jezreal.
Day 4
Tiberias / Jerusalem
Riding through t Shean
and the Jordan valley to the shores of the Dead Sea where you
can visit Qumran to see the caves where the Dead Sea scrolls
were discovered. Continue to Jericho and visit Elisha's
fountain, the Qarantal and the Mount of Temptation. In the
afternoon drive up to Jerusalem
Day 5
Jerusalem / Mt. of Olives / Old City
This morning drive to the Mt. of Olives for a
spectacular view of Jerusalem. Visit the church of Pater Noster,
the Chapel of Ascension and then walk the " Palm Sunday Road" to
the Dominus Flevit, where our lord wept over Jerusalem .
Continue to the garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All
Nations.
In the afternoon, we
enter the Old City of Jerusalem through St. Stephen's gate.
Visit the church of St. Anne, the Pool of Bethesda, the Chapel
of Flagellation, Lithostrotos and the Ecce Homo. Follow the Via
Dolorosa ( way of the Cross ) through the narrow alleys and
bazaars to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where we visit
Golgotha and the Holy Sepulcher.
Day 6
Bethlehem / Shepherds field
Drive to Bethlehem. Visit the Basilica of the
Nativity, the Grotto of Jesus' birth
We also tour the Manger, Grotto of St.
Jerome, the church of St. Catherine and the Shepherd's Fields.
Day 7
Jerusalem / Dome of
the Rock / New City
Visit the Old City of Jerusalem, Dome of the
Rock, Al Aqsa Mosque, and the Wailing Wall. Afternoon drive to
Mount Zion, visit the Cenacle or Upper Room. Then survey the
Dormition abbey and St. Peter in Gallicantu.
Day 8
Jerusalem / Museum and Ein Karem
After breakfast visit
Israel Museum where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed. Continue to
Ein Karem for lunch break and visit. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 9
Tel Aviv and Back home
Today our Holy Land tour comes to an end. Morning transfer to airport for flight back
home.
